A thorough list of projects I'm working on and want to work on
This list will contain (minor) spoilers for projects
Things I'm working on:
- MoFo Monthly #3: The Last City to Fall.
In this desert, ruins of the Last City are scattered across the waste. A Waster Queen rules over this land, opening the ruins for all kinds of treasure hunters, to take a tax from them when they find something. Not only that, but the main groups of treasure hunters are lead by Wasters that all belong to a polycule together. The reporting in MoFo Monthly issue #3 dives into the death of one of the polycule members. Making the zine based on a map of WillP (Dodocahedron games) and still has to do all the writing on it.
- Eco Mofos!! Bestiary.
I made a Bestiary map earlier, and I'm turning it into a real zine. I already changed the map, and put all enemies on their respective pages, etc. What's needed is to make digital images of all enemies, and I want it to be better than what I usually make.
- Nomads of the Weirdhope Ocean revisited.
This is a collaboration helmed by proton, and we decided to overhaul the whole traveller module that it's based on (Nomads of the World-Ocean) from scratch. I'm currently making notes on rebuilding the core of the module: the motivations of the kaiju, the NPCs, the communities etc.
- Cozy pointcrawl: Not all that lingers is rust
An Eco Mofos!! pointcrawl with no combat, but interesting locations in a world that gets rebuild. You travel to bring trade goods from one town to another, and explore the world at the same time. It is supposed to later be layered with a minor combat option, and with a conflict option. I have to write far more and interesting locations. I'm very happy with what I got so far, I just need to push through.
Things I want to work on:
- A Blood and Banners Megadungeon
Baron de Ropp made a playtest document, and I want to build a dungeon that starts with writing the town and the factions within. I'm currently thinking of a Keep on the Borderlands situation, but just a bit larger town, and some villages beyond. I just haven't had the time and energy to start on making notes, even if I have ideas.
- MoFo Monthly #4
It will come, probably in November or so. I need to commission a map, and I need to confidence I will write something. I don't want to disappoint someone.
- An Eco Mofos!! Kickstarter Compendium
No name yet. The Kickstarter would have a Bestiary with interesting and new ideas, divided into different sections like natural beings, Bandits, Corpos, demi-gods, titans and more. It would also have a table for items and ingredients, for gizmos. Things like that. Maybe NPC tables, town ideas.
I probably forgot a few, but this is it for today.
